This Father’s Day Map Artwork printed on birch plywood is made bespoke by the addition of a pub name and special message. The personalised map can be centred on any worldwide location and adding the name of a favourite pub makes it a perfect present for Father’s Day to spark memories of a happy time and place. A very thoughtful and truly unique gift.The print technique I use to make my items gives the finished article a gorgeous timeless look. The maps are printed onto squares of sustainably sourced birch plywood. The subtle wood grain shows through the printed image to enhance the beauty of the map. The natural variations of colour and grain add to the character of the handmade nature of the item, making each map a truly unique ‘one off’. The circle shape is hand painted using white acrylic paint prior to being hand printed with the map, and finally protected with a layer of matt varnish.Ordering is simple: Once you have decided on a location for your map simply use the drop down menu to enter the details. Let me know the pub name that you would like the map centred on and this will be added with a beer glass symbol to make the map truly individual. Each map varies but as a general rule the maps cover an area of 1kmx1km.You can add further personalisation with a message, names, or initials and a date in a customised circle shaped motif in the corner of the artwork. Enter the details into the ‘personalisation’ box on the options menu when placing your order. If you do not want additional personalisation just put NONE in this box.This item is small enough to stand on a shelf or mantelpiece but can also be hung on the wall. It is supplied with a concealed hanger for easy hanging from a picture pin or nail. I also offer this item framed in a simple white or black wood profile. You may prefer this as it gives the artwork a more contemporary style. Simply select Framing via the options menu when placing your order.
