Vintage Art Glass Beer Mug, Tankard, Couples in Period Dress, German Wedding Stein?

An unusual & very attractive glass tankard, chunky & well made, with transfer decoration of couples on horseback in rich shades of purple & deep pink. From the look, I think perhaps German, & maybe a wedding stein? (Any info or corrections appreciated though!) I’ve listed it as 1960’s or so in date, & in good vintage order - no damage or major wear, just a small crease to the glass where the handle joins the body of the tankard, & this from manufacture. Holds around half a litre of liquid, & measures 13cm tall, 7.5cm across the rim & 12cm across the base.
